Chiayi University Installation Art
When the Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan wanted to create a large-scale installation art piece, Everplast provided an innovative solution: using the latest cement slurry 3D printing technology to bring their design to life.
The installation art piece required a large and intricate base, with many details and curves. Using traditional manufacturing methods would have required a lot of time and resources, and may not have met the designer’s requirements.
However, using Everplast’s cement slurry 3D printing technology made the production of the installation art piece easy and efficient. We were able to quickly and accurately print based on the designer’s CAD model, and achieve various shapes and details, including complex surfaces and details.
Another advantage of using cement slurry 3D printing technology is the ability to print large objects. Our 3D printer has the printing capability of large buildings, therefore able to print large bases without the need to split into multiple small pieces.
In summary, Everplast’s cement slurry 3D printing technology provides a fast, accurate, and efficient manufacturing solution for National Chung Hsing University’s Department of Civil Engineering, capable of achieving various complex shapes and details while also able to print large objects. We are happy to have provided assistance in the production of this installation art piece, and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality and innovative solutions for more customers.
