IC carrier tape is widely used in automated packaging and feeding systems for semiconductor and electronic components. It is designed to carry and protect ICs, passive components, connectors, LEDs, sensors, and other miniature parts, and is combined with cover tape and reels to form standardized shipping and SMT feeding solutions. Through precisely formed pocket structures, carrier tape maintains accurate component positioning and provides protection against shock, dust, and contamination during transportation, storage, and high-speed placement, effectively reducing the risks of scratching, part loss, and electrostatic damage while improving production stability and yield.
